eBay Find of the Day: 2002 Subaru WRX makes tracks into our heart (video)

Among the many exploits of Ken Block we've posted on over the years, we've always loved this video of his Subaru WRX STI fitted with tracks at all four corners. So when we got a tip on an eBay Motors auction for a similarly equipped WRX, we were tempted to head up I-75 to check out the car in person. The Subaru is for sale in Chassell, MI, some 550 miles north of Detroit in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, way up in the Keweenaw Peninsula, which extends into the middle of Lake Superior. With apologies to our friends in Canada, it's about as far north as you want to go when the snow flies.

Ex-NFL QB Ryan Leaf busted for drug-related break-in with GPS data from his truck

Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Ryan Leaf was arrested last Friday and charged with being in possession of prescription Oxycodone pills that weren't his. Three days after posting a $76,000 bond, the Associated Press says he's been arrested again. According to the report, the owners of a Great Falls, Montana home came home to find a "tall man with an athletic build" and shiny shoes waiting for them.

Instagram for Android is now available, the world goes crazy

OMG, stop the internets. Instagram for Android is now out. Go grab it from the Google Play Store. Apparently this is big news. You probably had to be living under a rock today not to get hit by this amazing technological development.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, for the first time ever, an iOS developer managed to port an app to Android.

Oh wait. That's right, thousands of people have done it before Instagram.

What is it then? I know, I know. This is the first ever app for Android that allows you to turn your pictures into sick jokes from the 70s.

Spotify is working hard on 'major' update for Android app

Sources close to Spotify have informed our friends over at TheVerge, that the company is working hard to release an update that could prove major for Android's version of the music application. On top of that they could not get any more information. The news about an impending update will be delighting Spotify Premium users who have been flooding forums and Spotify's own community with complaints about the app which has not been updated since November of last year. According to TheVerge, many users are having to power through with issues like bugs, glitches and crashing to enjoy what Spotify has to offer.

It seems all the little endeavors have been carrying out over the past few years are slowly coming together as can be seen with the news that Google+ profiles will include address book information from Google Contacts. The team behind Google Contacts announced last night that should you have any information stored on your Google Contacts, it will be displayed for your friends at your Google+ profile.

Using the Aquos SH-06D3D as a base, the SH-06D NERV is inspired by the Japanese anime show Evangelion and is one of the coolest looking phones out there. earHero earphones will go directly into your ear canal

A lot of earphone and headphone manufacturers tend to tout their noise-isolation or noise-cancellation feature as one of its selling point, and while those features are great for listening to music uninterrupted by the outside world, they can be dangerous when walking on the street as they could prevent sounds of cars and other potential dangers. To combat that problem, audiologist Matt Murphy has since come up with the earHero, a pair of earphones that goes directly into the wearer's ear canal that's small enough to fit, but not big enough that it blocks the canal's width, thus allowing outside sounds to come through.
