Explay Crystal revives transparent display phones with dash of color, low price

Explay Crystal revives transparent display phones with dash of color, low price

If you've been lamenting the passing of transparent display phones like the Sony Ericsson Xperia Pureness as those vile, opaque smartphones took over, you'll be happy to know that Russia's Explay has taken up the mantle with the Crystal. The basic song remains the same, a numberpad-driven dumbphone with a display that will help you avoid the lamp post up ahead, but it's remixed through colors that render the experience a lot less monotone. We saw this in the Lenovo S800, but the dual SIM card slots and Bluetooth 3.0 at least see the Crystal keep pace with more recent phones in its category.

Harry Potter for Kinect — Lets You Kill “You-Know-Who” with Motions

I don't play video games as much as you do. I play Angry Birds on my iPhone and Facebook in my leisure times, but that's all. You know, I have tried to play games more seriously in the last three months. I built my custom PC with high-end component such as Intel Core i7 processor, a 16GB RAM, NVIDA GT440 graphic display card, and a 21-inch LED display. And you know what, my computer crashes whenever I run high resource games such as Need for Speed and Dolphin emulator to play Super Mario Galaxy.

Archos Arnova Child Pad unveiled

I have watched Alvin and the Chipmunks in cartoon form back when I was a wee lad – and for those who read this and wonder just what this old geezer is talking about, claiming that Alvin and the Chipmunks started off as a motion picture, all I can say is, there is still plenty for you to learn, young padawan. Back to Alvin and his merry Chipmunks – strange to see how they have made a relatively successful re-entry into today's culture, where their three movies actually grossed over a billion dollars in the process.

Samsung's dream comes true

Samsung's dream comes true

. Samsung's recent run of television commercials depicted iPhone owners as mindless hipster sheep who line up for days just to get their hands on a boring incremental update. While Samsung and its advertising firm had some fun poking at Apple and its legions of dedicated fans, the truth was made known during an interview earlier this year with Samsung marketing boss Younghee Lee: Samsung wants people to be obsessed with its products just like they are with Apple's products.

Google+ for Android gets Local, find places nearby based on the recommendation of friends

The Google+ team has just rolled out a new element to the social network in the form of the Local tab. Local integrates nearby places into the Google+ experience, allowing you to search or browse for nearby restaurants, bars, and popular hangout spots based on the scores provided by your friends who have been there combined with Zagat ratings. The whole package is wrapped up in a neat and tidy Google+ page. Of course, the new feature comes directly to Google+'s Android app, where you'll find the same features built into the social network's native interface.
