ASUS unveils Taichi laptop with dual IPS displays

ASUS unveils Taichi laptop with dual IPS displays

We've seen tablet/laptop hybrids before where the display can be rotated and closed in such a way that it can either pull double duty as a laptop or a tablet. If you thought that was hardly the most elegant solution around, ASUS has unveiled at Computex today the Taichi, a laptop computer from ASUS that comes with two displays. As pictured above, the laptop will feature a display on the inside and a display on the outside which will allow it to act as a tablet or as a laptop depending on the user's needs. Now according to ASUS, the Taichi is said to be as light and as thin as their Zenbook Ultrabook series of computers.

The device pairs the music source with the stereo system by way of Bluetooth connectivity or NFC technology, where equipped smartphones like the Bold 9930 can be paired quicker by just tapping the phone to the BMG.

McLaren MP4-12C Spyder to get trick folding hardtop

If you're going to go up against the Ferrari 458, a coupe isn't going to do it alone. No, for that you'll need a convertible version, too, to steal away customers who'd otherwise be putting their names down on the wait list for the 458 Spider. Lamborghini knows that, as it has demonstrated with successive versions of the Gallardo. Audi knows it too, as it has shown with the R8 Spyder. Aston Martin makes a DBS Volante and Porsche offers a 911 Turbo convertible. So if McLaren is going to play in this league, it's going to need a convertible version of its MP4-12C.
