NHTSA launching investigation into 2006-2008 Hyundai Sonata rust

NHTSA launching investigation into 2006-2008 Hyundai Sonata rust

The Detroit News reports the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating almost 400,000 Hyundai Sonata models over rust complaints. So far, NHTSA has received six complaints that Sonata models, built between 2006 and 2008, have allegedly suffered rear control arm failures due to subframe rust. Three of those occurred at highway speeds, and two resulted in the actuation of the vehicle's stability control system, though no one was injured. An investigation is typically the first step toward determining whether or not a safety recall is necessary.
This isn't the first recall for the Sonata.

Snake's Voice Bids Adieu

Snake's Voice Bids Adieu

All good things must always come to an end, and I clearly remember my first exposure to the Metal Gear Solid franchise on the PSOne, as the radio went, "Snake. Snake. Snaaaaaaaakkeeeee….!" each time I run out of lives. Well, that was the voice of David Hayter, who had for the longest time played the voice of Snake, but he will no longer do so in the future after "announcing" of his retirement from the role in a rather touching letter to fans.
David Hayter's letter does confirm the fact that he is not involved in any way with Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

YouTube Co-Founder Announces MixBit Collaborative Video Platform

One of YouTube's co-founders teased he was close to launching a new video service, but was about a month away from its actual launch. What better day to launch an actual product, or in this place a video platform, than on the day where the Internet is running rampant with April Fools' Day stories. We could think of 364 better days, but regardless of what we think, Chad Hurley decided today was the day to launch his new video platform, MixBit.
