If you've played American McGee's Alice series of video games, you might have heard our story on how the developer was looking to fund Alice: Otherlands, a project in which we will see Alice animated into short episodes where she dives into the mind of some of the great thinkers of the era. Well the good news for those who loved the franchise and were hoping to see the project successfully funded, your wish has come true as American McGee has announced that the Alice: Otherlands project was successful and has managed to raise a little over its goal of $200,000.

Strategy Analytics: Android had 80% market share in Q2

ItÂ's safe to say that the Android OS has extended its dominance without any real competition from any other mobile operating systems out there. According to Strategy Analytics, Android has recorded a whopping 80% global market share during Q2, 2013. The Google developed Android OS has accounted for 182.6 million out of the 229.6 million sold globally. Apple's iOS scored a 13.6% market share with 31.2 million iPhones and is in the second spot, while Windows Phone managed to grab the third place with a 3.9% share.

According to the report, Apple's iOS global market share is the lowest since Q2, 2010.

ITC Postpones Ruling On iPhone And iPad Bans Until 9th August

The original plan was that come 5th of August, the ITC's ban on older Apple devices like the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, and iPad 2 3G will be banned from being sold in the US. Granted these are Apple's latest products, the fact that they will be banned will undoubtedly make Apple look bad. As it turns out it looks like the ITC has decided that they will be needing a bit more time to decide if these products should be banned as they have decided to extend the decision where the final ruling will be taking place on the 9th of August.
