New Google Nexus 7 briefly listed as available to pre-ordered

Expected to be officially unveiled by Google later today, the new Nexus 7 tablet can be already pre-ordered in the US thanks to Best Buy and Sam's Club. As you may already know, the official price of the Nexus 7 16GB should be $229. Both Best Buy and Sam's Club are confirming the price. The 32GB version will cost $269.

We heard that the new tablet might be in stock at Best Buy starting July 30, but the retailer doesn't confirm this for now.

Like the first-gen Nexus 7, the new model is manufactured by Asus.

FCC Approves LG D801

The FCC has been busy bees all this while, and there does not seem to be any rest made available for them. In fact, the folks over at the FCC have recently approved a new and mysterious LG D801 smartphone, where there has been no official designation for this particular device just yet. Of course, it goes without saying that speculation is rife that this could very well end up as the LG G2 flagship that we have been talking about for quite some time now, and the LG G2 is also tipped to be announced this coming August 7th.

There's no way around it, the Blazar seems much like an unofficial followup to Nokia's Play360 speakers - and it's not necessarily a bad thing. Volume is plentiful and clear, however, the loudness-focused voicing leaves mids sounding thin. Its bottom-loaded bass port is great for loads of sub-bass, but the sound simply isn't even across the full range. Our initial concern here is that much smaller speakers, like the Beats Pill, put out a similar quality of audio, making us expect noticeably thicker results from the Blazar.

Those look to be the real deal, aligning nicely with previous live shots.
