Sharp Aquos Phone SH930W Gets Detailed

We first caught wind of the Sharp Aquos Phone SH930W when it was reviewed earlier this month by a Russian site. We also mentioned that the device will be released in Russia first before launching to other markets. True enough, Sharp's first ever phone with a 1920 x 1080 display is now making its way to Hong Kong and it will most probably be available there next month. Sharp Hong Kong has recently published a promo material of the device online highlighting the phone's brilliant 1080p display on its 5-inch screen.

Sure, the new Fiesta ST and 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine took the majority of 2014 Fiesta-related headlines, but that doesn't mean the rest of the range was left untouched. Windows Blue OS Update In The Pipeline?

Windows Blue OS Update In The Pipeline?

Microsoft's Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 operating systems – the former being for computers while the other is meant for the mobile platform, has been around for just a short while, but it seems that the software giant is preparing to roll out an OS update which will be known as Windows Blue, which might even replace Windows 8 in a matter of months. It certainly sounds very far fetched, but who knows. Stranger things might not have happened, but this could very well be the first time.

2013 Fiat 500c Abarth takes its top off with a quickness

2013 Fiat 500c Abarth takes its top off with a quickness

What a pleasant little piece of plug-and-play. Putting the Fiat 500c's retractable roof on the hot 500 Abarth was pretty much a no-brainer, and hey, we certainly aren't complaining. Folding the soft top back on the little hatchback will only allow us to better hear that awesome exhaust note while we're burying the throttle. And come on, who doesn't like a little wind-in-your-hair action.
Again, the 500c Abarth package is pretty much a copy/paste job, so dynamically, the car isn't all that different.

Nokia Lumia 920 Has Double The Galaxy S3's Backlog

A Swedish online store (http://www,dustin.se) has laid claim that demand for the Nokia Lumia 920 is not artificially engineered, and has classified it to be "absolutely huge", where it actually caused a backlog that is twice as big as that compared to the hot selling Samsung Galaxy S3. Yes sir, we did talk earlier this morning concerning the rather hungry demand for the Lumia 920 in Nokia's homeland, and Sweden, which is a Scandinavian country that has a tiny penetration of Windows Phone devices, also has seen phenomenal demand for the Windows Phone 8-powered device.

Remember earlier this year we reported that thanks to a hacker, a security flaw was discovered in the keycard system used by hotels around the world. One would assume that after learning about this flaw that hotels around the world would rush to replace their keycard systems, or at the very least the company who provides said system, Onity, would replace them. While we can't speak for other hotels, it seems that a rash of hotel break-ins in Houston have been attributed to a burglar who used the same hack to enter the rooms.

Keeping business security wrapped up this Christmas

London, 26 November 2012 - In the run up to Christmas, businesses need to ensure that they have checked their list twice when it comes to IT security. Not only do employees browse for Christmas gifts online during their lunch breaks, but an increasing number of people work remotely over the festive period. Employees can unknowingly put their business at risk from the inside by inadvertently opening the door to a virus or spyware, which can have devastating consequences to a business and its customers.

This is according to Simon Bain, CTO of search specialist Simplexo. “Big Data is very much a hot topic right now. Last week we reported that after Apple and HTC managed to arrive at a settlement agreement, effectively ending the patent war between both companies, Samsung stepped in and requested that they be allowed to look at the settlement. Apparently some of the patents covered by the Apple-HTC agreement might have something to do with the ongoing lawsuit with Samsung, and if some of the patents Apple licensed out are covered in the Samsung-Apple lawsuit, it could undermine Apple's claims of "irreparable harm". Well it looks like Samsung might have gotten their wish as a court in California has ordered Apple to produce the agreement without delay.

However, it's clear that whoever drew up the slide isn't fully in the know, since the mystery version is simply described as "7.x.". Meanwhile, the official Russian Windows Phone Twitter account has also kept the wheels rolling by promising 18 months of support for 7.8.
