S21H Android Stick PC Has 2GB RAM

Who would have thought that advancements made in the semiconductor industry has seen the processing power of a decent computer crammed into something as small as a USB stick. Well, that is where we are at today, and the S21H is a prime example of such development in the world of Android-powered TV sticks. What makes the S21H special from the rest is the integration of a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor as well as 2GB RAM for approximately $70, where it is also said to come with 8GB of internal memory.

Meet the Smart Fortwo that should be competing in the 2013 Dakar Rally (video)

When it comes to specialty applications of the Smart Fortwo, "off-road motorsports" may seem about as likely as "amphibious assault vehicle." Yet a team has come up with just that (the former, not the latter), creating a rally-ready runabout dubbed the Smart Dakar. The team used a Fortwo to create a "Smart Buggy 4x4." The creator's website claims that the vehicle is in compliance with FIA regulations, and weighs only 750 kilograms (1,653 pounds). As the name suggests, the intent of this vehicle is to compete in the Dakar Rally, and it looks the part.

Leak confirms Maserati product plans, five new models

It isn't a secret that Maserati is planning a product expansion in an attempt sell 50,000 units annually by 2015, but the automaker hasn't officially announced just how it plans to do so. Yes, we've seen (and driven) the 2014 Quattroporte, checked out spy shots for the smaller Ghibli sedan and Maserati even confirmed the Levante name for its SUV, but a leaked document reported by CarScoop could shed some light on how the Italian automaker intends on carrying out its rapid growth.

Study: Half of Americans Leaving Landlines

A recent study shows that almost half of Americans are living in households that use only or mostly mobile phones, while the remainder of the population is slow to convert. The findings came from the unlikeliest of sources: the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). The institution conducted its National Health Interview Study throughout the year, interviewing people about everything from their state of health, insurance status, and even what phones they use in their households.

2012 Honda NC700X

Honda Builds The Crossover Of Bikes. Here in the land of Harleys and highways that stretch to infinity, Americans don't care much for sensible motorcycles. Unlike the majority of global bike buyers, North Americans tend to choose escape over utility, performance over practicality – that's simply how it's been done in the land of the free, at least until a funny thing happened on the way to the global recession.
As bank balances thinned and fuel prices crept skyward, sales of puffed up sportbikes and cartoonishly endowed cruisers plummeted.

2014 Volvo XC60 scooped before launch

A Chinese automotive site has snagged the first spy shots of the updated Volvo XC60, completely uncovered. While the overall profile of the vehicle remains intact, the headlights are heavily revised. Gone are the two-piece units, which featured the separate light strip between the main cluster and the grille. In place now are larger lenses, somewhat reminiscent of those found on the S60 sedan. Also updated is the grille, which gets a little wider to meet the new headlights. The grille receives more chrome, while the lower front fascia has been revised with wider openings.

Sony Advises Against Microwaving Your PS3

I don't know about you, but this is definitely a no-brainer – you should not put another piece of consumer electronics into a microwave to dry it. Unfortunately, there must have been some folks around the world who has done so, considering how Sony went about recently to make a public announcement that you should not put your PS3 console in the microwave. I am at a complete loss for words to hear that from Sony, how about you.

BBM Video Arriving In BlackBerry 10

Late last month, we did confirm that BBM Video will be making a debut in the BlackBerry 10 operating system, thanks to the appearance of a folder known as "bbm_vieo" on the BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha phone. Well, this time around, we have an internal RIM document to thank for confirming the existence of this particular feature on BlackBerry 10. Said document even shows off just how the feature would work in real life, where using BBM, a chat session between two contacts can be switched over to BBM Video in a jiffy. Following that, pushing a button is a snap to share a spreadsheet or presentation.

How many other cars does it take to kill a Volvo?

We all know how safe Volvo cars are, but a European junkyard has decided to put it to the test by crashing, jumping and rolling the life out of an 850 wagon. While government tests use automated systems to crash new cars, the guys in this video do so with a driver behind the wheel. Aside from what looks like a safety harness and roll bar for the driver, it seems like this car is otherwise bone stock.

While most of our time on eBay Motors is spent looking for a good eBay Find of the Day article or daydreaming about our next project vehicle, there are plenty of people who actually use the site to purchase cars and parts – to the tune of $3.7 billion in Q3 2012 alone. With the year coming to a close, eBay Motors has revealed the top makes and models that have rolled across its virtual auction block and where these purchases were made. The Big Three occupied the top three spots for the top makes, while American muscle cars (Mustang, Corvette and Camaro) and Ford pickup trucks (F-250 and F-150) were the top five models.

Is the Samsung SGH-T999L an LTE Galaxy S3 for T-Mobile?

Thanks to a recent sighting at the Bluetooth SIG website, a certain Samsung SGH-T999L has been sighted. Considering that the SGH-T999 is T-Mobile's version of the Samsung Galaxy S3, the inclusion of the "L" at the end of the name has some speculating that perhaps this might be the LTE version of the Galaxy S3 designated for T-Mobile's network. At the moment T-Mobile is the only  one of the four major carriers not to offer LTE.

While phones made by China companies such as ZTE and Huawei tend to be on the affordable side, even with regards to their high-end devices, it looks like ZTE is hoping to change that and have announced a limited edition ZTE Nubia Z5 which will be made out of titanium. For those who don't really have a budget and are looking for a unique device, then you might be interested to learn that the titanium-made Nubia Z5 will cost $1,264. Is the iPhone 5 prone to bending?

While we'd love to see products launch without a hitch, sadly that rarely is the case and most of the time these issues range from extremely minor to major. In the case of the iPhone 5, reports are coming in from China (via Nowhereelse) that the iPhone 5 is facing some "flexibility" issues (as pictured above). If you're wondering why this is only being reported now, it's because this issues seems to have come from China alone where the iPhone 5 was launched not too long ago.

Apple Interested In A Smart Watch Of Their Own? [Rumor]

With the previous design of the iPod nano, many accessory manufacturers took the opportunity to create watch straps that would accommodate the device, essentially turning the iPod nano into a watch-like device. Now we've seen several smart watches created in the past, such as the Pebble smart watch, but if the rumors are to be believed, it seems that Apple could be interested in such a device themselves. According to Tech.163, they claim that they have heard whispers in the supply chain that Intel has developed a smart watch that Apple could be interested in.

Going solar is definitely an alternative power supply that we should not only explore, but attempt to put theory into practice whenever and wherever possible, and Signal Snowboards as well as Powerfilm Solar have come together to harness the possibilities of flexible solar panels by attaching these onto a snowboard, creating a working solar array in the process. This solar-powered snowboard was fitted with dual sheets of solar panels that have been specially cut to fit the board's shape, where it is then connected to a converter that has been mounted onto the middle of the board.
