Google's new Asus-made Nexus 7 tablet launched bearing a price that's $30 higher than that of its predecessor. That said, $229 is nowhere near prohibitive, and the new Nexus 7 does have an extremely crisp high-res screen and the biggest pixel density ever seen on a tablet – and that display surely wasn't cheap. So you might say that the price difference compared to last year's Nexus 7 is at least bearable, if not understandable. But savings are savings, people. And if you pop into an Office Max store until August 10, you can get the 16 GB Nexus 7 for just $183.20.
