Rolls-Royce has been developing the 102EX, which is said to be the world's first luxury battery-powered electric vehicle. After its rounds in Europe, Middle East, and Asia, Rolls-Royce has taken the concept car for a test drive around the streets of posh Manhattan. As expected with what we previously posted, the electric version of the RR Phantom comes with the largest battery pack for a car. The Rolls-Royce 102EX features a lithium ion battery pack and two electric motors, which are connected to a single-speed transmission. Each motor is packed with 145 kilowatts of power, providing 800 Newton meters of torque.
