While Huawei has been making a name for themselves as manufacturers of affordable handsets, they have started to make their way into higher-end devices with the Ascend D Quad which was announced earlier this year at MWC. While high-end hardware specs are no doubt welcome by end-users, it seems that Huawei is looking to introduce some interesting features as well. In an interview with Computerworld, Huawei's North American research chief, John Reese, revealed that the company is looking into 3D gestures for use with their smartphones.
