Following the footsteps of Amazon Appstore that gives away paid applications for free daily, Apple App Store now offers a Free App of the Week feature to the delight of many iPhone and iPad users who refuse to shed a dollar to download Angry Birds Space. On the first day of this special offer, the Apple App Store reveals Cut the Rope: Experiments as its first free app of the day. The announcement is quite low-key with the #FreeAppoftheWeek hashtag appearing on the App Store's Twitter account.
