Watch out, Samsung (005930): you aren't the only electronics manufacturer capable of creating absurd and bombastic marketing materials for your smartphones. LG (06657011) this week unleashed a new video for its new Optimus G smartphone that demonstrated its power by using an interpretive dancer, ripped topless men practicing archery and hand gestures so goofy that they would put many fourth-rate hypnotists to shame. The full video rarely actually shows the device close up, and when it does it touts the Optimus G's “mystic appearance” among other features.
