Lenovo is far more famous for their range of notebooks and Ultrabooks, but this does not mean that they do not have forays into different lines of consumer electronics, and the smartphone is one of them. Well, we do know that Lenovo did roll out the Lenovo K860 in the past, but just like notebooks, an update or hardware refresh is in store, and the K860i would be the model of choice to receive some bumps up in the pecking order. Nothing groundbreaking, but reassuring at the very least.

The Detroit Free Press reports electric vehicles like the Nissan Leaf and Chevrolet Volt aren't maintaining the same residual values as their internal combustion counterparts. Kelly Blue Book says the 2012 Nissan Leaf will hold around 20 percent of its value after five years while the Nissan Sentra will retain around 30 percent of its value. KBB predicts the Volt, meanwhile, will be worth 30 percent of its MSRP after the same amount of time, which is a full eight percent less than the 2013 Chevrolet Cruze.

Sprint to pay Clearwire $120 million breakup fee if deal falls through

The other it was reported that Sprint would buy out remaining Clearwire shares that it did not own for $2.2 billion, giving Sprint full control over the company. Naturally with such high stakes and a huge amount of money in place, Clearwire needs some sort of guarantee that the deal will go through, or at least get compensated if it doesn't, and Sprint has revealed that they will be paying Clearwire $120 million as a breakup fee should the deal fall through.

Samsung Galaxy S2 Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Update Delayed

There must be a fair number of folks out there who are wondering just when will the first Android 4.1.2 updates for the Samsung Galaxy S2 arrive, and it seems that the waiting period will just have to continue. Samsung Sweden first reported in October earlier this year that Samsung will introduce this particular update for the Galaxy S2 in November, bumping the operating system version to Android 4.1.X along the way, before moving the date to December.

Blip Wi-Fi Blood Pressure Monitor review

There are all sorts of gadgets on the market today that will help you keep track of your health stats. There are Fitbits and Nike Fuel bands to let you know how active you are, Withings WiFi Scales to let you keep an eye on your weight and now there's the Blip WiFi Blood Pressure Monitor from BlipCare. This device is currently seeking funding through an Indiegogo project, but they sent me a demo unit to test. Let's check it out.
