In case you didn't know, this compact digital camera comes equipped with a 46-megapixel (4800x3200x3 layers) Foveon X3 direct image sensor, which is combined with a 30mm f/2.8 lens. The Sigma DP2 Merrill will be available in the U.S. market for $999. Folks in the UK are also able to purchase this camera for £799.99.
