All right, there has been whispers going around today from a bunch of Israeli news agencies that South Korean consumer electronics giant, Samsung, has forked out slightly less than $30 million for the set-top box company known as Boxee. Apparently, Boxee was holding out for $30 million at the very least, but it is said that the amount Samsung offered was close to that. If you were to interpret the alleged selling price in a different manner, it would mean that Boxee is being sold at a loss since it was founded in 2007.
