Facebook adds “Safe” status update

Facebook's “Like” button is something that really captured the imagination of the masses, and here is a new feature from the social networking giant that is certainly a no-brainer – we are talking about the “Safe” button. This “Safe” button is being tested on Facebook's new Disaster Message Board in Japan, where users can mark themselves as "Safe" with a single click of a button. It makes sense to have this feature for those living in areas that are prone to disasters such as earthquakes and perhaps, tornados and floods.
