It looks like the rumors had it the other way around – Apple announced the new Apple TV before the new iPad, and just what can we expect to see from this latest iteration from Apple that hopes to punch a hole into the home entertainment market. The new Apple TV is said to support 1080p resolution alongside a “streamlined new user interface.” It does sound as though it will get the job done, but make no mistake about it – this is not a basic iOS interface.
