A new iPhone will probably be unveiled next month. That's what most rumors have claimed (and agreed upon) over the past couple of weeks or so. With every new smartphone launch, Apple keeps the predecessor around, but sells it at a discount – which so far has been $99.99 with a two-year contract. Sprint now offers the iPhone 4S for just $149.99. That's $50 cheaper than the ‘normal' price for the iPhone 4S, and for any ‘current' iPhone ever actually.
